Feng Chophouse is a new player on the downtown Hartford restaurant scene, except that this new guy is actually an old friend. Feng has been a staple in the area for a long time, offering up a solid happy hour and a commitment to quality that makes it simple to see just how they’ve stood the test of time. The atmosphere is posh and energetic yet very approachable- perfect for a romantic dinner for two but the space also easily accommodates a business meeting or large party.

This reimagined concept serves as the perfectly appointed foundation upon which guests are offered sublime steaks and sushi that will make your heart sing. The meat, from a 9 oz center cut filet all the way to a 25 oz porterhouse, is dry aged from 21-30 days in their custom Himalayan salt cave and grilled to absolute perfection. The sushi, paying homage to tradition and simplicity, is lovingly handcrafted using super fresh fish that comes in from NYC twice a week and is married with sushi rice- imported from Japan at over $200/gram- to create their nigiri/sushi offerings. With a supporting cast of appetizers, salads, and entrees composed with the utmost attention to premium ingredients and detailed execution, this menu can effortlessly please any guest.

Their wine room boasts over 100 bottles so there is something for every palate and to compliment every dish.
