Disney on Ice Skates Into Hartford

Disney on Ice Presents World of Enchantment
Skates into Hartford

Written by Jessica Asdis Bishop, 2019

If you’re from the area you’re probably well aware that the XL Center brings all sorts of entertainment to town, entertainment that many times completely transforms the arena and opens the door for all kinds of energy and excitement- Disney On Ice is no exception! The bright colors, familiar musical numbers, and the overall production was a feast for the senses and nobody left hungry.

We had the pleasure of attending the opening night performance in Hartford, CT and were, without question, entirely enchanted. While it’s easy to think of this as a kids show, there really is something for everyone, including those who are kids at heart. Watching the way each segment of the show unfolds as its own adaptation of the full-length motion picture is exciting and heart-warming. Disney Pixar’s Cars, Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Disney Pixar’s Toy Story 3 and Disney’s Frozen each captivated the audience with their own sense of nostalgia and wonder.

Characters throughout the show were super interactive with the kids in the audience, spending lots of time giving high fives, waving, etc.; the show felt very inclusive and the enjoyment was collective. CTASB’s Jenna even exclaimed, “I’ve had a smile on my face the whole time!”

Tickets for Disney on Ice Presents Worlds of Enchantments start at $15 on select performances.  All seats are reserved, and tickets are on sale now at XLcenter.com or by visiting the XL Center Box Office.
