JD & THE STRAIGHT SHOT’S SCINTILLATING SOUND ROCKS THE PALACE THEATRE

Written by Jessica Asdis Bishop

Like a teaspoon of Tupelo Honey chased with a shot of Kentucky bourbon, JD & The Straight Shot pours a Smoky Mountain feel out over the crowd at the 100-year old The Palace Theatre in Stamford, CT. There is a sweet, authentic and genuine chemistry that the band brings to their live experience, giving the audience a performance that they can truly connect with.

Opening for the legendary band Chicago, JD & the Straight Shot shared an intimate set that included songs from their new album Good Luck And Good Night. Their music has also been featured in several notable films from Hurricane Season to August: Osage County starring Meryl Streep.

The band hosted a set that was enchanting soaked with violin and slide guitar along with the usual suspects, and was thoroughly loved by the sold-out house.
