KITCHEN AT HARTFORD PUBLIC LIBRARY GRAND OPENING WAS TODAY!!! Head over and grab some grub!

This morning CT Ain’t So Bad headed over to Kitchen at Hartford Public Library for their Grand Opening which featured a media preview breakfast and ribbon cutting ceremony.  Kitchen offers local farm-to-table delectable delights prepared by City residents.  This new café is a collaboration between two nonprofits (Billings Forge Community Works and Hartford Public Library) who’s shared goal is to improve the quality of life for Hartford residents.

“All of The Kitchen’s dishes are crafted with locally grown and sourced ingredients and prepared by City residents who are enrolled in the Billings Forge Community Works job training program.   This unique partnership creates a one-stop-shop for job training and permanent job placement services for Hartford residents in collaboration with CT Works.” (Kitchen’s press release)

**Kitchen opened today at noon with full service beginning tomorrow at 8am.
They are located at 500 Main Street  Hartford, CT
